The minidiorama to me is a powerful tool to distill interspecies, ecological and social relationships. They are worlds within worlds, reflecting our percieved seperation from natural landscape. I focus on depicting memories and places around the Meadowlands area in Northern New Jersey because of my personal relationship to it and its overlooked qualities, being between the natural and industrial worlds.
